European Gym for Life Challenge 2026 Celebrates Excellence in Pistoia

The European Gym for Life Challenge (EGFLC) 2026 transformed the PalaCarrara in Pistoia into the beating heart of Gymnastics for All, bringing together hundreds of gymnasts from across Europe for three unforgettable days of creativity, teamwork and outstanding performances.
Hosted as part of EUROGYM 2026, the event welcomed Small Groups and Large Groups, each presenting unique choreographies that combined gymnastics, dance, theatre and artistic expression. Every performance embodied the true values of Gymnastics for All: inclusion, friendship, creativity and excellence.
Following the evaluations of the international jury, participating groups were awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze medals according to the European Gymnastics Gym for Life evaluation system. The official medal lists include 73 Small Groups and 61 Large Groups, representing nations from across Europe.
Gold Medal Performances
The highest distinction was awarded to performances that demonstrated exceptional artistic quality, technical execution and overall presentation.
Among the Small Groups, 15 performances received a Gold Medal, while 13 Large Groups achieved the highest recognition.
Silver Medal Performances
The Silver Medal recognised groups that delivered performances of a very high standard, combining creativity, excellent teamwork and strong technical quality.
A total of 28 Small Groups and 24 Large Groups were awarded Silver Medals, reflecting the outstanding level of participation throughout the competition.
Bronze Medal Performances
The Bronze Medal celebrated performances that successfully embodied the spirit of Gymnastics for All, demonstrating enthusiasm, originality and commitment.
30 Small Groups and 24 Large Groups received Bronze Medals, highlighting the remarkable participation and diversity of performances presented in Pistoia.
A Celebration Beyond Challenge
The European Gym for Life Challenge is much more than a challenge. Every participating group is recognised for its dedication, artistic expression and commitment to the values of Gymnastics for All.
From spectacular acrobatic routines to emotional storytelling through movement, EGFLC 2026 showcased the extraordinary diversity and quality of European gymnastics, creating unforgettable memories for athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators alike.
