Your Safety. Our Commitment.
The health and safety of all participants is a top priority for EUROGYM 2026. A comprehensive Medical Plan has been developed in cooperation with the Italian Emergency Medical Services (118), local health authorities and volunteer rescue organisations, ensuring medical coverage throughout the entire event.
Medical Coverage
Medical assistance will be available at all official event venues, including:
- European Gym for Life Challenge (PalaCarrara)
- Opening & Closing Ceremonies (Stadio Melani and Piazza Duomo)
- City Performances
- Workshops
- Catering Headquarters
- Accommodation Schools
Dedicated medical teams, ambulances, first responders, bicycle rescue units and a central emergency coordination centre will operate throughout the event to guarantee rapid intervention whenever required.
Accommodation Schools
Every accommodation school has been inspected before the event to ensure appropriate health and safety standards.
Each school provides:
- ✅ An Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- ✅ First Aid Kits
- ✅ Emergency information in English
- ✅ Two trained first responders on duty every night
Participants can therefore rely on immediate assistance throughout their stay.
Emergency Procedures
In case of an emergency:
- Call 112 immediately.
- Follow the instructions provided by the emergency operator.
- If assistance is required within a school, contact the security staff on duty.
Medical teams are in constant communication with the Emergency Coordination Centre to ensure the fastest possible response.
A Safe EUROGYM Experience
More than medical assistance, the EUROGYM 2026 Medical Plan includes preventive measures, continuous monitoring and coordinated emergency management to provide a safe environment for participants, coaches, volunteers and spectators throughout the event.
