COL Pistoia for EUROGYM 2026

COL Pistoia for EUROGYM 2026 is the Local Organising Committee established for the planning and management of EUROGYM 2026 and the European Gym for Life Challenge 2026.

The Committee coordinates all organisational, logistical, sporting, and promotional aspects of the events, working closely with European Gymnastics, the Italian Gymnastics Federation (FGI), the Municipality of Pistoia, the Province of Pistoia, the Tuscany Region, and all institutional and private partners involved.

Its mission is to ensure the successful hosting and participation of thousands of gymnasts, coaches, officials, and delegations from across Europe, while promoting the values of sport, inclusion, culture, and international exchange.

COL Pistoia for EUROGYM 2026 submitted the bid on behalf of the City of Pistoia to host the 5th edition of the European Gym for Life Challenge and the 15th edition of EUROGYM, scheduled to take place in July 2026 in Pistoia, Italy.

In July 2024, European Gymnastics officially awarded Pistoia the right to host these prestigious events.

In practical terms, the Local Organising Committee is responsible for:

• Relations with European Gymnastics and the National Gymnastics Federations;
• Participant registration and accreditation;
• Logistics, transportation, and accommodation;
• Management of sports venues and event locations;
• Volunteer coordination and operational services;
• Ceremonies, workshops, and cultural programmes;
• Communication, marketing, and institutional relations.

The Committee is based in Pistoia and is chaired by Alessandra Mazzatosta, with Simone Monaco serving as Executive Director and operational lead for the organisation of the events.
