Pistoia, June 11th – The Eurogym 2026 Info Meeting will be held in Pistoia on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 June. The local organizing committee led by president Alessandra Mazzatosta and executive director Simone Monaco will host the representatives of the 20 nations that will participate in Eurogym next year from 9 to 17 July 2026.
Around 40 people will take part in the two-day event in which the city, its beauties, its artistic and cultural heritage and all the locations of the event will be presented. After this tour to get to know the city, the delegation will be greeted on Saturday 14 June at 6 pm in the Grandonio room of the Town Hall.
«After the official nomination of Pistoia in June 2024 to host Eurogym 2026 – recalls the councilor for sports promotion Alessandro Sabella – now is an important step to better organize this great sporting event. The Info Meeting will in fact serve to introduce the city and the event to the heads of delegations of the participating European nations. It will be a fundamental promotional moment for each individual nation as the heads of delegations will act as spokespersons and word of mouth to mobilize the groups to participate based on the impression that the city will be able to give back».

Eurogym 2026 is the European Gymnastics Festival for all that brings together young gymnasts from over 20 European countries. The event promoted by European Gymnastics (EG) and the Italian Gymnastics Federation (FGI), will be held for the first time in Italy and will see the participation of over 250 sports groups and approximately 5 thousand young gymnasts aged between 12 and 18.

In 2026, for over a week, the city of Pistoia will transform into the European capital of gymnastics, becoming a real open-air gym: in the morning, gymnasts will compete in over 40 types of sports workshops in the city parks. During the afternoons and evenings, the most beautiful squares of the city will host various stages for the performances of the European gymnastics groups who will show their best choreographies. Furthermore, the Palacarrara will host the European Gym for Life Challenge and the Stadio Melani the ceremonies (opening, gala show, closing).

The event will be organized by the Local Organizing Committee of Eurogym 2026 in collaboration with the Municipality of Pistoia, the Province of Pistoia, the Tuscany Region and other national and territorial entities. The event is supported by Fondazione Caript, Conad, Decathlon, Pistoia Assicura.
