This afternoon, Friday 24 January, the mayor of Pistoia Alessandro Tomasi, together with the councilors for sports promotion Alessandro Sabella and the sports facilities engineer Alessandra Frosini officially welcomed a delegation of EuroGym 2026, which will take place in Pistoia from 9 to 17 July 2026.

For Eurogym 2026, the president Alessandra Mazzatosta and the vice president Silvia Noci, Ivo Antonelli representing UISP Pistoia, Salvatore Conte of UISET, the Executive Director Simone Monaco of the E-Creative agency and other members of the Gymnastics Federation were present for the Local Organizing Committee. of Italy.

The European delegation, made up of representatives from Germany, Portugal, Norway, France, Azerbaijan and Italy, will be in the city until Sunday 26 January to carry out an inspection of the places that will host the EuroGym 2026, a sporting event of international importance. During these three days, the delegation will work closely with the Local Organizing Committee to start organizing the event.

This visit represents a crucial first step towards EuroGym 2026. The European delegation will return to Pistoia in May to continue preparations and monitor progress.
