Pistoia, June 15 – The countdown continues for Eurogym 2026, the main continental gymnastics event, which will arrive in Pistoia next year. The appointment is for July 2026 when approximately 6 thousand young people between the ages of 12 and 18 will arrive in the city.
In view of the event, for the first time Italy will host the biennial event, a delegation of the participating countries visited the city, viewed the facilities and structures that will host the events.
The Eurogym 2026 Info Meeting opened at the Naturat Village and then touched the PalaCarrara, the Melani Stadium, the athletics field and some of the schools where the young athletes will be hosted; the official moment of farewell of the delegation was at Palazzo di Giano.

Next year Pistoia will therefore transform itself from 9 to 17 July into the European capital of gymnastics, becoming a real open-air gym; In the morning, gymnasts will compete in over 40 types of sports workshops in the city parks. The most beautiful squares of the city during the afternoons and evenings will host various stages for the performances of the gymnastics groups, while the PalaCarrara will host the European Gym for Life Challenge and the Melani Stadium the official ceremonies.
