Where do the events take place?
EUROPEAN GYM FOR LIFE CHALLENGE and EUROGYM 2026 will be held in Pistoia, Tuscany (Italy), a historic city close to Florence and Pisa, well connected by train and airports. Shuttle services will be offered from major airports and train stations.

What is the European Gym for Life Challenge?
EGFLC is a performance evaluation event for Gymnastics for All groups. It is not a traditional competition, but groups receive scores, feedback, medals, and diplomas.
Who can participate in EGFLC?
Open to gymnasts 12 years and older. Groups must have at least 6 gymnasts. Age checks may be conducted.
What is Eurogym?
Eurogym is a non-competitive European gymnastics festival that brings together young people from across Europe to share their passion for movement, performance, and cultural exchange. It focuses on fun, friendship, and participation, not rankings or medals.
Who can participate in Eurogym?

Gymnasts aged 12–18

Coaches, group leaders, and Heads of Delegation
Some flexibility is allowed for slightly younger/older participants depending on group size. Coaches cannot perform as gymnasts.

Who organizes these events?
Both events are organized by European Gymnastics together with the Italian Gymnastics Federation and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) in Pistoia.
Is Eurogym a competition?
No. Groups perform for sharing and celebration only. There are no scores or rankings.
What kind of performances are presented?
Groups present choreographed routines (max. 5 minutes) during City Performances in Pistoia’s main squares. Each group performs twice during the week.
What are the workshops?
Each group takes part in four workshops: two assigned and two chosen. Activities include gymnastics disciplines, dance styles, sports, creative arts, and inclusive/Paralympic activities.
What is the Eurogym Gala?
A large evening show held on July 16 at Stadio Marcello Melani. Selected groups perform around the theme “The Italian Meraviglia” (Italian Wonder).
What happens in the evenings?
There are Eurogym Parties and a Fun Zone every evening with music, DJs, themed activities, and social events organized by young leaders.

Are the events inclusive for participants with special needs?
Yes. Quiet rooms, alternative accommodation options, and volunteer support can be arranged. Organizers encourage early contact for specific needs.
Is it a safe event?
Yes. Events are run by European Gymnastics, the Italian Gymnastics Federation, and an experienced Local Organizing Committee. Medical services, trained staff, and structured supervision are part of the organization.
Will there be time for sightseeing?
Yes, free moments allow groups to explore Pistoia and nearby Tuscany, under leader supervision.
Do you offer airport transfers from the airports to Pistoia?
Yes, the LOC offers a shared or dedicated shuttle service from and to Pistoia from the following airports:
